Capt Marty Fishing Lures
Capt. Marty's Fishing Lure Contest!

This thing started during the Saturday morning edition of The Other Side Of Fishing on February 14th. Rob Alderman was in the studio and somehow he and Jody started talking about how prison inmates should be making fishing lures instead of license plates. The reason being that making fishing lures is something one could possibly do on the outside while making license plate is something you only do on the inside. At some point Rob came up with a contest for listeners to make funny, yet family friendly, fishing lures. He put up $100 for a grand prize. Level 3 added another hundred so there could be a 2nd place, $75, and third place, $25. Once submitted the lures become the property of Max Radio. In other words you don't get them back. We are going to display them at Capt. Marty's Fishing School on March 14th and the winner will be decided there too. They will then go one display in the lobby of the radio stations. Bring your entry by the radio station during business hours. Or mail it to Max Radio - Beach 104/Water Country 94.5, 103 West Woodhill Drive - Suite E, Nags Head, NC 27959.

Here are the entries:

Ginger from Frank and Fran's submitted this on and it is self explanatory. The elusive Speckled Puppy Mullet should really like this one!!
